What happens on a Getaway?
Each Getaway is a 5 to 7 day all-inclusive experience set in a breathtaking location, with everything from gourmet meals to spa access included. But beyond the luxury, it’s designed to spark meaningful connection. You’ll go on one-on-one dates selected just for you, participate in unique group outings to national parks or heritage sites, and attend relationship-building workshops grounded in emotional intelligence. You’ll also have dedicated time with our expert coaches pre-getaway to help you show up confidently and authentically. Whether you meet your true love or not, you’ll leave feeling more connected, to others and to yourself.
What sort of stays can I expect?
Each Getaway is hosted at a hand-selected, five-star property that reflects the beauty and character of its surroundings. Guests may choose a private room or opt to share a thoughtfully designed space with a same-sex roommate or small group, creating more opportunities for organic connection. You’ll enjoy three gourmet meals a day, full access to wellness and spa amenities, and excursions tailored to the unique location and for you to better get to know your fellow guests. From snorkeling and archery to historic walks and close-up wildlife encounters. Of course every guest is also matched with multiple one-on-one dates during the trip, designed to unfold naturally within this immersive and restorative environment.
Will my group have mixed ages and genders?
Each group is carefully composed to reflect both compatibility and intention. While we generally align guests within similar life stages and age ranges, we also honor individual preferences. If a few clients are drawn to more mature partners, we may broaden the group accordingly. Every getaway is as balanced as possible.
What if I can't make the dates for a Getaway?
There's a reason we ask you to pick your top 2-3 destinations! We hand-pick each group for the best interactions and chemistry to take place. Once we have a group together we reach out to you. We endeavour to provide you with at least 90 days notice before the Getaway.
Will there be Wi-Fi?
Yes! While we do encourage leaving your phones in your room and stepping away from screens while you join us, wi-fi is available.
How much do the Getaways cost?
We have multiple options so every client has an itinerary that fits them best. Once chosen to join Nectar Matchmaking, you'll be able to choose what best suits you.

Can I see photos or bios of potential matches beforehand, or is it completely blind?
We don’t share any clients' profiles or photos before the Getaway. This protects every clients’ privacy and helps eliminate the pressure or overthinking that often happens in traditional matchmaking. Instead, you meet people naturally, in person, and fully present without preconceived judgments. It’s one of the reasons our clients form such real, meaningful connections.
Are flights and airport transfers included?
While airport transfers on location are always included, flights are dependant on the the package you choose.
Are you able to accommodate dietary or mobility restrictions?
Of course! Every client completes a detailed health and safety form before their Getaway. We collect health and dietary information to ensure every aspect of your experience, from meals to activities, is aligned. Whether it’s food, capabilities, or energy level, our team works quietly behind the scenes to make sure you feel cared for without ever needing to ask twice.
Is this for couples?
